Functional Responsibilities and Skills Required:
> Perform Maintenance & Support role, specifically using Teradata, Informatica, Unix/Linux
> Analyze business information requirements
> Develop and compose functional specifications and design specifications
> Design, develop and test applications to provide global business reporting & analysis
> Assist in consulting and problem solving for EDW users
> Adhere to NCR’s internal software development processes
Desired Education/Experience to perform the function:
> Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
> Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
> Experience of 1-2 years with Teradata/Informatica a must
> Experience with JAVA/JSP/ASP preferred
> Relational database experience required
> Operating System knowledge: UNIX/Linux skills a must
> Strong SQL programming language experience required
> Ability to adjust to rapidly changing development environment including schedule and application requirements
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
