Job description

Primary job responsibilities
  • Conduct manual code audits
  • Communicate with software developers, managers, and quality engineers about security best practices
  • Help identify areas in which security research, development, and training will benefit Red Hat products and services
  • Create documents detailing secure development concepts and practices
Required skills
  • Proficient in one or more of these programming languages: C, Python, Java, Ruby
  • Ability to review code and quickly identify security bugs
  • Excellent knowledge of the Linux operating system
  • Thorough understanding of computer security concepts
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good organizational skills, with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams..
